The Longest Light in the World
Apkujeong, Seoul, South Korea
This is the street I cross everyday to get to work. The lights at this intersection determine if I am on time or late. The crosswalk light changes every ten minutes. Once the light turns green, you have about three minutes to jet across a six-lane arterial while avoiding motorcyclists and taxis along the way. In Korea, pedestrians don't even have the right of way on the sidewalk.
